Straying from their natural element, a rocker and a rapper will make the scene in Cannes this week. Shock rocker Marilyn Manson will walk the red carpet for the film WRONG COPS, directed by his friend Quentin Dupieux. A 13 minute installment will make its Cannes debut as part of the Directors Fortnight section. The film, described in a news release as a “filthy comedy about some disturbed cops, set against a pre-apocalyptic vintage L.A. background” can viewed in its entirety after the festival on website www.wrongcops.com. The rapper coming to the Croisette is Kanye West, who will present a short film entitled CRUEL SUMMER. The project has been described as a “fusion of short film and art installation presented as an immersive seven screen experience”. Rock on, boys……..
