Matt Damon Planning His Directorial Debut

Written by: FFT Webmaster | May 9th, 2011

Oscar-winning actor Matt Damon is planning on joining his buddy Ben Affleck as an actor-turned-director on a project he is setting up at Warner Brothers. FATHER DAUGHTER TIME is the title of a spec script by Matthew Aldrich (CLEANER) that centers on a man and his daughter who go on a three-state crime spree. Damon is attached to the project as an actor and has indicated he may want to direct the film, which would be his directorial debut. In the meantime, his slate as one of Hollywood’s busiest actors is quite swamped with such eagerly anticipated projects as Neill Blomkamp‘s ELYSIUM and Steven Soderbergh’s LIBERACE (with Michael Douglas playing the pompadoured pianist).
