A Canadian film being promoted by Telefilm Canada has been picked up for international distribution. THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF ROSALIND LEIGH, an indie pic starring Vanessa Redgrave, Aaron Poole, Julian Richings, Stephen Eric McIntyre and Charlotte Sullivan, has been bought for international rights by new distribution shingle Raven Banner Entertainment. Rue Morgue Cinema’s Marco Pecota produced the film, which stars Poole as an antiques collector who inherits a house from his estranged mother (Redgrave), only to discover that she had been living in a shrine devoted to a mysterious cult of angels. The film, written and directed by Rodrigo Gudiño, had its premiere at the Cannes Film Market as part of Telefilm Canada’s Perspective Canada showcase.
