FINAL DEADLINE – JANUARY 15th
Screenwriting competition for great script openings.
The first ten pages of a script tell a lot about the story, the characters, the tone and the overall writing ability of the writer. Enter for a great opportunity to showcase your writing skill and win money and prizes. $500 grand prize.

To honor Fellini’s uniquely creative spirit, and to provide each screenwriter a new screenwriting competition experience, during this special one-time contest, BlueCat will offer TWO SCRIPT ANALYSES for each screenplay. Your submission will be read by two different readers, receive two sets of detailed analyses, along with two sets of numerical scores used to judge your screenplay.

LATE DEADLINE – January 31st!
CineStory is a national non-profit dedicated to nurturing emerging screenwriters through its mentorship programs and yearly screenwriting contest, the CineStory Screenwriting Awards.

With over 20k in cash and prizes, the contest’s Grand Prize is a 12-month Fellowship program during which the writer is mentored by two Hollywood professionals. In addition, semifinalists, finalists and winners are invited to an intensive four-day Writers Retreat where they work one-on-one with working Hollywood professionals.

DEADLINE – JANUARY 31st!

Contest Name: Feature ~ Round 1 of 3: Logline

Description: This is the first of three rounds in our annual feature length script contest.

In this first round, writers submit their title and logline (no more than 500 characters). The top 30 writers move on to the second round in April, when they submit their first ten pages. In August, the top ten writers move on to the third and final round, when they submit their finished scripts.

DEADLINE January 31, 2011

Do NOT miss out on submitting your script for 2011. The winning script will win 3 ways and a chance to win much more: Best Short Screenplay Script will be produced into a short film by our production partner in Seattle, Washington. This competition is open to screenplay writers of all levels. This competition is open to scripts of ALL genres. Your script must be a “Short Film” script.

The contest is open to all writers, eighteen years and older. Writers may submit their material online. Winners of the 2011 contest will receive cash and industry related prizes in addition to having their material submitted to Hollywood producers, agents and studios.
