Sundance Event Report: Rand Luxury Lounge

Last week, a select group of industry executives, film professionals and special VIP guests gathered at the posh St. Regis Deer Valley Resort in Park City for an intimate evening of networking and celebration. Rand Luxury played host to the exclusive 2-day festivities aimed at honoring a few of the standout films premiering at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival.

The series of events of kicked off with a brunch reception for the premiere of the Maria Shriver-produced documentary, The Mask You Live In, followed by a cocktail reception for the premiere of Z for Zachariah, which stars Margot Robbie, Chris Pine, and Chiwetel Ejiofor. The festivities concluded the following evening with the official ICM Partners reception. Notable guests in attendance included Alysia Reiner (Orange is the New Black), RJ Mitt (Breaking Bad), Richard Kind (Spin City), Missi Pyle (Jennifer Falls), and Rex Lee (Entourage).

Guests mixed and mingled over a bevy of passed hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and fine wine, provided courtesy of Beaulieu Vineyards. Sponsors made sure the evening was as interactive as it was entertaining, with a variety of engaging treats for attendees. Opportunities ranged from makeup touch-ups at the Cargo Cosmetics table, to brain-training and de-stressing in the Muse area, and personalized travel consultations with Asia Transpacific Journeys. Beaulieu Vineyards’ own winemaker Jeffrey Stambor was also on hand to offer wine pairings and to provide a guided tasting experience.

Attendees did not leave empty-handed, going home with a variety of goodies that included insulated mugs, premium COHIBA cigars, makeup, and model airplanes, to name a few, from sponsors Thermos, LG Electronics, Cargo Cosmetics, Pilatus Aircraft Ltd., Wider 150 and Brikk.
