Frankfurt Book Fair Invites Film Professionals

The Frankfurt Book Fair, the world’s largest trade event for books and content with over 7500 exhibitors, will be held in the German city from October 12 to 16. For the first two days of the trade show event, the focus of seminar programs and networking meetings will be especially geared to film professionals.

For the first time, the Book Fair is sponsoring a special section titled CONTENT FOR FILMS on October 12 and 13, which will be integrated into Frankfurt StoryDrive, a conference event that was successfully introduced in October 2010. At Frankfurt StoryDrive, creative professionals from all corners of the media and entertainment industries bring together promising content with new storytelling formats. This tailor-made program will address film producers and film scouts from all over the world.

It offers a unique range of sessions on finance, rights and licensing, management and storytelling for film and cross-media productions. Furthermore, it introduces film professionals to the latest books on offer through exclusive matchmaking sessions with international publishing representatives. Attendees can also meet with professionals from other creative industries, including games and music.
